Course Objective

This SA8000:2026 Internal Auditor Training is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and auditing skills required to perform first-party (internal) and second-party (supplier) audits of Social Accountability Management Systems.

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of SA8000:2026 requirements, human rights and labour principles, risk-based thinking, and ethical auditing techniques to evaluate workplace conditions and organizational practices. The course focuses on ensuring decent work, worker protection, ethical supply chains, and continual improvement of social performance in organizations.

Prerequisite

• A basic understanding of labour rights, social compliance, or SA8000 requirements is recommended.
• Prior experience in human resources, social compliance, sustainability, ESG, auditing, or management systems will be beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with international labour standards such as ILO conventions or management system standards will be an added advantage.

• The certification exam comprises multiple-choice and descriptive questions designed to assess the comprehension of the Body of Knowledge.
• The exam will be conducted online and is available only in English.
• Passing score >70%

Course Validity & Exam Timeline:

• Learners must take the final exam within 3 months of purchasing the course.
• Course access will remain available throughout the designated access period as applicable.

Note: Attempting the exam after one year will require an additional fee.

Certification:

• E-certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the exam.
• E-certificates will be delivered within 7 working days after passing the exam.
